“What we find changes who we become.”
― Peter Morville

Through collaborative research CEMHRI works to prevent mental and neurological illnesses, aid the quick recognition and diagnosis of those suffering from mental and neurological illnesses, advocate for prompt evidence-based treatment for mental and neurological disorders, improve the physical health of persons with severe mental and neurological illnesses, lower the disabilities associated with mental and neurological disorders in the society and improve the rate of recovery.

We also use collaborative research to help improve the quality of life of persons with mental and neurological illnesses and reduce the stigma of mental and neurological illnesses in the community. CEMHRI is currently involved in the Lagos state Mental Health Survey currently running in all the divisions of Lagos State Nigeria.
